Consultancy - 1995 - present:   Consultant and Trainer

  • Strategic Review for Eleanor Palmer Trust that provides Residential Care Homes, Sheltered Housing, Almshouses and Relief in Need
  • Board Member Remuneration analysis for Ashfield Homes and other Providers
  • Creation of successful co-regulatory arrangements for PA Housing, including effective Scrutiny and Inspection. Direct support to participants to make this an award shortlisted approach. A series of service improvement recommendations accepted by the Group's boards from the range of Scrutinies completed. A Local Offers programme in place.
  • Creation of effective Scrutiny processes at Network Stadium Housing, PA Housing and Network Solutions, including advice and support to the Associations, Scrutiny Panels in the Pilot Scrutiny and establishment and support to the permanent arrangements.
  • Winning of a Supported Housing Contract for Irish Centre Housing Association with the London Borough of Camden to provide drugs and alcohol recovery accommodation and support. Provided detailed advice and support with the preparation of proposed methods, arrangements and costings.
  • Work with a number of boardsto increase their governance capacity through review, appraisal and development. Structured feedback indicating measurable progress. Many over time, but more latterly Ashfield Homes, Newport City Homes and Welwyn Hatfield Community Housing Trust.

  • Major roles in the successful creation of North Wales LSVT Cartrefi Conwy, including governance arrangements, board formation and development, strategic development and Governance Manager coaching.
  • Project Managed the successful implementation of Housing ManagementandMaintenance contracts for Mouchel Group and their operation for the first twelve months at Westminster City Council. Business Director for Strategic Projects and Change Management - 1992-1995
